What is Excel WordArt?
The WordArt feature provides a visual effect to the text, enhancing its appearance and readability for the user. It facilitates users' customization of the text design, making it more colorful and vibrant and giving the workbook an artistic flair. You may add special effects to your workbook like Shadow, Reflection, Glow, Bevel, 3-D rotation, and Transform.
Inserting WordArt in Microsoft Excel
Various steps are written below to add the WordArt in the Microsoft Excel −
Step 1 − First, navigate to the Insert tab and click on the Text option.

Step 2 − After that, expand the WordArt icon from the given list and select the "Gradient Fill: Turquoise, Accent color 4; Outline Turquoise, Accent Color 4" design from the specified list of multiple designs.

Format the WordArt Design
You can customize the WordArt by changing the format of the WordArt design, such as Shape Styles Fill, Shape Outline, and Shape Effects, which are part of the Shape Format tab.
For example
- Set the Shape Fill to the plum color and shape outline to the green color,
- Set the glow variations to the "Glow: 8 point; Dark Green, Accent Color 3".
- Transform the WordArt in the Arch Warped shape.
Step 1 − Let's say you have inserted the WordArt in the worksheet.

Step 2 − After that, you can switch to the Shape Format tab and expand the "Shape Fill" option under the "Shape Styles" and select the "Plum, Accent 5, Lighter 40%" color from the drop-down menu.

Therefore, the WordArt is filled with the selected Plum color.
Step 3 − Moreover, you can expand the "Shape Outline" option and select the green color from the Theme Colors.

Afterward, you can click on the "Weight" option and select the 3 pt from the given menu.

Hence, the shape outline of green has been changed.
Step 4 − The Shape effects offer you the ability to apply visual effects like Preset, Glow, Reflection, Soft Edges, 3-D rotation, and Bevel. You may expand the Shape Effects, click on the "Glow" option from the given list, and choose the "Glow: 11 point; Green, Accent Color 6" color from the specified list of the Glow Variations.

Step 5 − Similarly, you can choose the "Reflection" from the drop-down menu of the Shape Efftects to imply the reflection effect on the text.

As you can notice in the screenshot, the Reflection effect has bee added in the WordArt.

Step 6 − You can click on the "Text Effects" under the "WordArt Styles" group and then expand the Transform tile and select the "Arch Warped" option from the drop-down menu.
