\root ... \of command is used to create root operation.

EXAMPLE

1. \root 3 \of x

   $ \root 3 \of x $

2. \root 13 \of {\frac 12}

   $ \root 13 \of {\frac 12} $

3. \root n+1 \of x + 2

   $ \root n+1 \of x + 2 $
