String toLowerCase() Method

Returns a new string by converting all characters in the given string to lower case.

Syntax

String.toLowerCase()

Return Type

Returns a string.

Example

void main() { 
   String uStr = "ABC"; 
   String lStr = "hello"; 
   print(uStr.toLowerCase()); 
   print(lStr.toLowerCase()); 
}

It will produce the following output −.

abc 
hello
