What is a constellation? Name any two constellations.
A constellation is a group of stars that appears to form a pattern or picture such as Orion the Great Hunter, Leo the Lion, or Taurus the Bull. Constellations are easily recognizable patterns that help people orient themselves using the night sky. Officially 88 constellations have been discerned till now.
Earth is known to be in the Cassiopeia constellation.
Ursa Major and Orion are the constellations.
