We have two identical metal sheets. One of them is rubbed with sand paper and the other with ordinary paper. The one rubbed with sand paper shines more than the other. Give reason.

When the sandpaper is rubbed on a metal sheet, it produces large friction. Due to this large friction, the dust particles are removed easily and the metal sheet shines. While on the other hand when an ordinary paper is rubbed on the other identical metal sheet, a very less frictional force is produced that is insufficient to remove all the dust particles and that's why the sheet rubbed with sandpaper shines more than the other.
