Renu purchases two bags of fertiliser of weights \( 75 \mathrm{~kg} \) and \( 69 \mathrm{~kg} \). Find the maximum value of weight which can measure the weight of the fertiliser exact number of times.
Given:
Renu purchases two bags of fertilizer of weights 75 kg and 69 kg.
To do:
We have to find the maximum value of weight which can measure the weight of the fertilizer exact number of times.
Solution:
Here the weights of the two bags of fertilizer are given as 75 kg and 69 kg.
The maximum value of weight which can measure the weights of the fertilizer
the exact number of times is given by the HCF of 75 and 69.
$75 = 3 \times 5 \times 5$
$69 = 3 \times 23$
The HCF of 75 and 69 is 3.
So the maximum value of weight which can measure the weights of the fertilizer
the exact number of times is 3 kg.
