Rafat is a Cloud Solutions Architect, Trainer, and Author with over 20 years of experience in the IT field. Rafat has been architecting, implementing, and managing complex, large-scale Azure and Office 365 cloud solutions in Australia and globally.

Rafat started his IT journey in 1998 in Sydney, Australia, when he worked for the Australian Stock Exchange and helped stockbrokers with their DOS-based SEAT terminals. (SEAT stands for Stock Exchange Automated Terminal).

Rafat joined Microsoft in 2004 and worked on Windows Server, Exchange, Lync, and Ops Manager projects for public and private sector organizations in Jordan and the MEA region. Additionally, Rafat advocated Microsoft's positioning in regional and global events and helped customers adopt and deploy Microsoft on-premises and cloud solutions.

Rafat is certified in Azure, AWS, Teams, Exchange, Windows Server, and TOGAF.
