(i) The rational number that does not have a reciprocal.
(ii) The rational numbers that are equal to their reciprocals.
(iii) The rational number that is equal to its negative.
To do:
We have to find the answers to the given questions.
Solution:
(i) We know that,
Any number divided by zero is undefined.
Therefore,
0(zero) is the rational number that does not have a reciprocal.
(ii) We know that,
Reciprocal of a number $a$ is $\frac{1}{a}$
Therefore,
Reciprocal of $1$ is $\frac{1}{1} = 1$
Reciprocal of $-1$ is $\frac{1}{-1} = -1$
$1$ and $-1$ are the rational numbers that are equal to their reciprocals.
(iii) We know that,
$0$ is neither a positive nor a negative number.
Therefore,
