Write a pair of integers whose difference is -4
Given: Difference of two integers is $-$4.
To find: Here we have to find a pair of integer whose difference is $-$4.
Solution:
Let the one integer be = a
Let the second integer be = b
So, according to the problem:
a $-$ b = $-$4
So, in the above equation we can put value of either a or b to get the corresponding value of other integer:
Example:
Let one integer (a) be = 5
So,
5 $-$ b = $-$4
$-$b = $-$4 $-$ 5
$-$b = $-$9
b = 9
Therefore, 5 and 9 is a pair of integer whose difference is $-$4.
We can get as many pairs as we want by just changing the values of a and b.
