Write a pair of integers whose: (a) sum is $(-8)$ (b) difference is $(-4)$ (c) product is $(+20)$

Given :

We have to write the pair of integers whose: (a) sum is $(-8)$ (b) difference is $(-4)$ (c) product is $(+20)$.

Solution :

Pair of integers whose sum is $(-8)$ is,

$(-3) + (-5) = (-8)$.

Pair of integers whose sum is $(-8)$ is $(-3,-5)$.

Pair of integers whose difference is $(-4)$ is,

$(-2) - (2) = -(2+2) = -4$.

Pair of integers whose difference is $(-4)$ is $(-2,2)$.

Pair of integers whose product is $(+20)$ is,

$(4) \times (5) = 20$.

Pair of integers whose product is $(+20)$ is $(4,5)$.
