Why mass is sometimes called coefficient of linear inertia?
In our daily life, we experience that when we puss or pull a heavy and light body. We experience that pulling or pushing a heavy body needs more force than that pulling a light body. This proves that the more mass, the more inertia of the body. So, we call inertia the coefficient of the mass sometimes.
