Why copper is a less reactive metal?
The reactivity series lists metals in order of their reactivity. The reactivity series allows us to predict how metals will react. A more reactive metal will displace a less reactive metal from a compound. Copper is at the bottom of this series. Copper is the only metal apart from precious metals that do not react with water or dilute acids. It reacts very slowly with oxygen.
