Why algae is not considered as a plant, although it does photosynthesis?
Algae is not considered as a plant though it does photosynthesis because- 1. It lacks many structures that occur in complex plants, such as stems, roots, leaves, etc. 2. Some of them don’t have cellulose cell walls, and 3. Some of them may move with pseudopods or flagella.
