Which of the following is greater:$\frac{-5}{8}$ and $-0.9$
Given :
The given terms are $\frac{-5}{8}$ and $-0.9$
To do :
We have to find the greatest number among the given terms.
Solution :
$\frac{-5}{8}$ and $-0.9$
$\frac{-5}{8} = -0.625$
When we compare 0.625 and 0.9, 0.9 is greater.
But in negative numbers, the order gets reversed.
