Which is easier to hold in hand: a kulhar (earthen pot) or a glass tumbler? Why?

The surface of Kulhar(earthen pot) is rougher than that of the glass tumbler and muds of Kulhar offer greater friction than the glass so it makes us able to form a good grip. So holding a kulhar is easier than a glass tumbler.
