Which direction will be the resultant direction, if start facing east and make $\frac{1}{2}$ of a revolution clockwise ?
Given :
The given statement is, start facing east and make $\frac{1}{2}$ of a revolution clockwise.
To do :
We have to find, which direction will be the resultant, rotating half of a revolution clockwise from facing east.
Solution :
1 revolution $= 360°$
$\frac{1}{2}$ revolution $= \frac{360}{2} = 180°$
The direction, 180° from the east is West.
Therefore, If we start facing east and make $\frac{1}{2}$ of a revolution in clockwise direction , then we will face the West direction.
