What is Venation?
The arrangement of veins in a leaf is known as venation.
There are two types of arrangement of veins observed in the leaves: Reticulate and Parallel Venation.
Reticulate Venation-
When veins (or the nerves) are arranged in-network or web-like arrangement all over the leaf blade or lamina, it is called as reticulate venation.
Parallel Venation-
When veins (or the nerves) are arranged parallel to one another all over the leaf blade or lamina is known as parallel venation.
