What is the difference between sour and bitter taste?
Sour taste belongs to the acidic pH range (0 to 7), while bitter taste belongs to the alkaline pH range (7 to 14).
A sour taste is an acidic taste and cannot be considered as an unpleasant taste, while the bitter taste is a sharp pungent taste, that often considered as an unpleasant taste.
