What is the difference between stalk fibres and seed fibres?

Stalk fibres are natural fibres that are taken from the stalk of a plant.

Some examples include straws of wheat, rice, barley, bamboo and straw.

The fibres collected from the seeds of various plants are known as seed fibres. These fibres are used for durable yarn, fabric, packaging, and paper. Some examples are flax, jute, kenaf, industrial hemp, ramie, rattan, and vine fibres.
