What is meant by Reducible fraction ?


Reducible fraction:

A reducible fraction is a ratio of two integers which have a common divisor.  The fractions which are not in their simplest form are called reducible fractions.

For example,

$\frac{5}{10} = \frac{1}{2}$. Here, 5 is a common divisor.

Therefore, $\frac{5}{10}$ is a reducible fraction.
