What is meant by a non-renewable source of energy? Give two examples of non-renewable source of energy.
A non-renewable source of energy is defined as the source of energy which has accumulated in nature over centuries and cannot be replaced quickly when exhausted are called non-renewable sources of energy.
The two examples of non-renewable sources of energy are:
(a) Fossil fuels (such as coal, petroleum and natural gas)
(b) Nuclear fuels (such as uranium)
