What is Lymphatic system?


The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that are part of the circulatory system and the immune system. It helps to get rid of toxins, waste, and other unwanted materials from the body. It consists of a network of lymphatic vessels, lymphoid organs, and lymphoid tissues.

The primary function is to transport lymph throughout the body. Lymph is a fluid which contains white blood cells that fight with infection.
