What is “concentration of a solution”?
The concentration of a solution is the amount of solute present in a given quantity of the solution.
It is expressed by the ‘percentage method’. The percentage of solute can be ‘by mass’ or ‘by volume’.
It is expressed as:
concentration of solution= $\frac {mass\ of\ solute}{mass\ of\ solvent}×100$
