What is cataract? How the vision of person suffering from cataract is restored?
A person is said to have developed a cataract when the eye lens becomes progressively cloudy resulting in blurred vision.
The vision of a person suffering from cataract can be restored with surgery. The opaque lens is removed from the eye by surgical operation and a new artificial lens is inserted in its place.
