What is a force?


A force is a push or pull that acts upon an object. The other words it is the interaction that an object makes with other objects in the surroundings. When unopposed, a force will change the motion of an object. A force can cause an object with mass to change its velocity.

According to Newton's second law, Force applied on a body is proportional to the acceleration of the body.
