What is a parallelogram and quadrilateral?
A quadrilateral is a polygon with four sides (vertices). Different types of quadrilaterals are square, rectangle, trapezium, parallelogram, kite etc.
Properties of a Quadrilateral:
A quadrilateral has 4 sides, 4 angles and 4 vertices.
All sides, angles can be equal or different
The sum of all the angles of a quadrilateral is 360°.
A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with opposite sides parallel. The opposite sides of a parallelogram are of equal length and the opposite angles of a parallelogram are also equal
