What happen when acid and base reacte
Dear Yashika Verma
Acids reacts with Bases to give Salt and Water.The equation is given as:
Acid + Base --> Salt + Water
This is a neutralization reaction when an acid and a base react to form water and a salt.It involves the combination of H+ ions and OH- ions to generate water. When a solution is neutralized, it means that salts are formed from equal weights of acid and base.
eg: HCl + NaOH --> NaCl + H2O
Acid + Base --> Salt + Water
