When an hour hand moves in a clockwise direction

(i) from 12 to 6

The hour hand moves through 180 degrees or $\frac{1}{2}$clockwise revolution or through 2 right angles.

(ii) from 6 to 9

The hour hand moves through 90 degrees or $\frac{1}{4}$ clockwise revolution or through 1 right angle.

(iii) from 1 to 10

The hour hand moves through 270 degrees or $\frac{3}{4}$ clockwise revolution or through 3 right angles.
