Two solutions X and Y are tested with universal indicator. Solution X turns orange whereas solution Y turns red. Which of the solutions is a stronger acid?
As per the universal indicator, solution Y will be stronger acid than solution X because it turns to red when tested by the universal indicator. This means that the pH is 1 and orange colour indicates that the value is higher than 1.
