Two cars A and B starting at the same time from the same point are moving with a average speed of 40 km/h and 50 km/h respectively in the same direction. Find how far will car be from car a after 3 hours.
Given:
Speed of car A - 40km/h
Speed of car B - 60km/h
To find: The distance between two cars after 3 hours
Solution:
$Distance = Speed\times Time$
Distance covered by car A = $40\times 3$
= 120km
Distance covered by car B = $50\times 3$
= 150km
Distance between car B and A
= 150km - 120km
= 30 km
Car B is 30 km ahead of Car A
