Two angles of a triangle are in ration 4:5. If the sum of these angle is equal to the angle, find the angles of the triangle
Given:
Two angles of a triangle are in ratio 4:5
The sum of these angle is equal to the angle
To do: Find the angles
Solution:
Let the two angles be $4x$ and $5x$.
Third angle = sum of these angles = $4x + 5x = 9x$
Using angle sum property of the triangle
$4x + 5x + 9x = 18x$
=$ 180 or x = 10$
So the angles or the triangle are $4x, 5x \ and \ 9x$ or 40, 50, 90
