 Three Bells toll at intervals of 60 second 20 seconds and 24 seconds respectively

They all toll together at 8 a.m

To find: When will they all toll together again

Solution:

Find the LCM of 60,20 and 24

2 |60,20,24

2 |30,10,12

3 |15,5,6

2 |5,5,2

5 |5,5,1

Therefore the LCM of60,20and 24

=2$\times$2$\times$2$\times$3$\times$5

=120 seconds 
Therefore they all will ring together again after 120 seconds that is 2
