The sides of the rectangle are 250 mm and 1.5 m. The perimeter in cm is
Given :
The length of the rectangle (l) $= 250\ mm=\frac{250}{10}\ cm=25\ cm$. (Since $1\ cm=10\ mm$)
The breadth of the rectangle (b) $=1.5\ m=1.5\times100\ cm=150\ cm$. (Since $1\ m=100\ cm$)
To do :
We have to find the perimeter of the rectangle.
Solution :
The perimeter of the rectangle with length 'l' and breadth 'b' is given by $2(l+b)$.
Perimeter$= 2(25+150)$
$=2(175)$
$=350\ cm$
Therefore, the perimeter of the rectangle is 350 cm.
