The same force F acts on four different objects having the areas given below, one by one. In which case the pressure exerted will be the maximum?
$(a)$.\ 20\ m^2$
$(b).\ 50\ m^2$
$(c).\ 10\ m^2$
$(d).\ 100\ m^2$
When the same force F acts on four different objects having the areas $20\ m^2$, $50\ m^2$, $10\ m^2$, and $100\ m^2$ one by one. The pressure will be maximum at the object having the smallest area $(10\ m^2)$ as we know that pressure is inversely proportional to the area of the surface of the object.
So, option (c) is correct.
