The room temperature be rose from $-20^o\ C$ at the rate of $5^o\ C$ every hour. What will be the room temperature after $6$ hours?
Given: The room temperature be rose from $-20^o\ C$ at the rate of $5^o\ C$ every hour.
To do: To find the room temperature after $6$ hours.
Solution:
As given,
Initial temperature$=-20^o\ C$
Rate of the temperature increase$=5^o\ C$ per hour
Temperature increased in $6$ hour$=6\times5=30^o\ C$
Therefore, final temperature of the room$=$Initial temperature$+$temperature increased
$=-20^o\ C+30^o\ C$
$=10^o\ C$
Thus, after $6$ hours room temperature will be $10^o\ C$.
