We know that:
LCM $\times$ HCF $=$ Product of the two integers
Now,
180 $\times$ 6 $=$ 30 $\times$ a
1080 $=$ 30a
a $=\ \frac{1080}{30}$
a $=$ 36
So, the required number is 36.
