The bulb in the circuit shown in figure does not glow. Why? Redraw the circuit diagram by making the necessary changes in it, so that the bulb starts glowing.
The bulb in the circuit does not glow because the switch is in open mode, and the cells of the battery are not connected properly.
Hence, to make the bulb glow, the switch needs to be in closed mode, and the negative terminal of one cell should be connected to the positive terminal of the other cell, as shown in the given figure.
