Take two bowls, half-filled with water. Keep one bowl in sunlight for two days and another bowl in Shade.
Observation 1: The bowl placed in sunlight will have very little or no water left in it.
Observation 2: The bowl placed in the shade, will have almost the same water level or the water level may be slightly reduced.
Conclusion: This happens because of the Evaporation of water from both the surfaces of the bowl. Evaporation occurs more in presence of direct Sunlight and is greatly reduced.
