What is the percentage of the youngest age-group persons over those in the oldest age group?"

Given:

A bar graph representing the number of persons in various age groups in a town.

To do:

We have to find the percentage of the youngest age-group persons over those in the oldest age group.

Solution:

Number of people in Youngest age group $= 300$

Number of people in Oldest age group $= 1400$

Therefore,

Required percentage $=\frac{1400 \times 100}{300} \%$

$=\frac{1400}{3} \%$

$=466 \frac{2}{3} \%$
