Given :

To do :

We have to find the value of p.

Soluion :

$2(p+3) = 14$

$2(p)+2(3) = 14$

$2p + 6 = 14$

$2p = 14-6$

$2p = 8$

$p = \frac{8}{2}$

$p = 4$.

The value of p is 4.
