Solve each of the following cryptarithms.
"
Given:
$3 7$
$+$ $A B$
-----------
$9 A$
To do:
We have to solve the given cryptarithms.
Solution:
$7+B=A$
$3+A=9$
If $A=6$ then $B=6-7=-1$ which is not possible.
This implies,
There is a carry of 1 in ten's place.
This implies,
$3+A+1=9$
$A=9-4=5$
There is a carry of 1 in ten's place.
$\Rightarrow 7+B=10+A=10+5=15$
Therefore,
$7+B=15$
$B=15-7=8$
