Simplify the following:$\frac{5}{9}-(2\times \frac{3}{5}) - (3\times \frac{3}{5} \times 0)$
Given :
The given expression is $\frac{5}{9}-(2\times \frac{3}{5}) - (3\times \frac{3}{5} \times 0)$.
To do :
We have to simplify the given expression.
Solution :
$\frac{5}{9}-(2\times \frac{3}{5}) - (3\times \frac{3}{5} \times 0)$
$ = \frac{5}{9}- \frac{6}{5} - 0$
$= \frac{5}{9} -\frac{6}{5} $
LCM of 9 and 5 is 45.
$ = \frac{5 \times 5}{9 \times 5} -\frac{6 \times 9}{5 \times 9}$
$ =\frac{25}{45}-\frac{54}{45}$
$=\frac{25-54}{45}$
$ = \frac{-29}{45}$
Therefore, the simplified form of $\frac{5}{9}-(2\times \frac{3}{5}) - (3\times \frac{3}{5} \times 0)$ is $\frac{-29}{45}$.
