Simplify the following:
$6-[2x-(4x-2)]$


Given :

The given expression is $6-[2x-(4x-2)]$.


To do :

We have to simplify the given expression.


Solution :

$6-[2x-(4x-2)] = 6-[2x-4x-(-2)]$

                        $= 6-[x(2-4)+2]$

                       $ = 6-[-2x+2]$

                        $= 6-(-2x) -(2)$

                        $= 6+2x-2$

                        $= 2x+6-2$

                        $= 2x+4$.

 The simplified form of $6-[2x-(4x-2)]$ is $2x + 4$.
