Given: $60 - 8 \times 12 ÷ 3$

To Do : Simply the given expression

Solution:

Using BODMAS rule  

$60 - 8 \times 12 ÷ 3$

= $60 - 8 \times 4........................   [as 12 ÷ 3 = 4]$

= $60 -32  ........................................[as 8 \times 4 = 32]$

= 28 

So $60 - 8 \times 12 ÷ 3 = 28$
