Cardiac muscle cells are found only in the heart, and are specialized to pump blood powerfully and efficiently throughout our entire lifetime. Some characteristics of cardiac muscle tissue cells are: they are involuntary and intrinsically controlled, striated, branched, and single nucleated.
B>Skeletal Muscle-
Skeletal muscle tissue is the only muscle tissue under the direct conscious control of the cerebral cortex of the brain.Skeletal muscle is under voluntary control.They are striated; with long, thin, multinucleated fibres crossed with a regular pattern of fine red and white lines, giving the muscle a distinctive appearance.
C> Smooth Muscle-
Smooth muscle tissue, unlike striated muscle, contracts slowly and automatically.Smooth muscle tissue cells are narrow spindle-shaped cells with a single, centrally located nucleus. These are involuntarily controlled, not striated, not branched, and singly nucleated cells.
