profit percent = 8%

Solution:
Cost price = ?
Cost price = Selling price - Profit
8 % profit on cost price ,
so, 108 % of cost price = selling price
108 % $\times$ C P = 810
$\frac{108}{100} \times$ C P = 810
C P = $810 \times \frac{100}{108}$
C P = $\frac{81000}{108}$ = 750
Cost price of fan = 750 ₹
