Name two animals having eyes:(a) on the sides of the head.(b) at the front of the head.

(a)  Animals of prey, such as deer and rabbits are the two animals having eyes on the sides of the head, which provide them the widest possible field of view due to which they can see their enemies (predators) in a very large area around them. Thus, they get alert and escape.

(b) Predators, such as tigers and lions are the two animals having eyes at the front of the head, which enables them to judge the distance of their prey accurately. As the eyes are few centimeters apart from each other, they allow them to see the same object from two slightly different angles. Thus, the brain combines these two slightly different images to build a 3-D picture of the object enabling them to judge the distance of the object more accurately.
