Name the product formed when hydrogen is added to ethene.
Ethane is formed when hydrogen is added to ethene.
When hydrogen is added to alkene (unsaturated hydrocarbons) in presence of Nickel catalyst, it saturates them and forms alkanes.
The reaction is given below:
$C_2H_4 + H_2 → C_2H_6$
