Name any two plants the aerial stems of which yield food.
Bulbils are modified aerial stems which become fleshy and rounded due to storage of food. These axillary buds undergo vegetative propagation and develop into a new plant.
In Dioscorea, the bulbils are condensed axillary buds, whereas in Agava and lily the floral buds develop into bulbil.
