LCM of 8, 12, 10 and 20.
Given: 8, 12, 10 and 20.
To find: Here we have to find the LCM of 8, 12, 10 and 20.
Solution:
Writing all the numbers as a product of their prime factors:
Prime factorization of 8:
- 2 $\times$ 2 $\times$ 2 = 23
Prime factorization of 12:
- 2 $\times$ 2 $\times$ 3 = 22 $\times$ 31
Prime factorization of 10:
- 2 $\times$ 5 = 21 $\times$ 51
Prime factorization of 20:
- 2 $\times$ 2 $\times$ 5 = 22 $\times$ 51
Finding highest power of each prime number:
- 23, 31, 51
Multiplying these values together:
- 23 $\times$ 31 $\times$ 51 = 120
Thus,
LCM(8, 12, 10, 20) = 120
So, LCM of 8, 12, 10 and 20 is 120.
